Material sources

At Powell Publishing, we seek to play our part in protecting the environment in which we live. That’s why all Christmas cards and envelopes are manufactured from materials carrying FSC Chain of Custody certification.

Print production

  • Standard inks are vegetable based and solvent free
  • 90% of dry waste is recycled
  • Computer-to-plate technology eliminates film and film processing chemicals
  • Solvent recycling equipment enables re-use of 95% of cleaning solvents from the larger presses

All print production emissions are offset via the Carbon Neutral company

The use of harmful isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is eradicated, thus eliminating the main source in printing of harmful VOC emissions


Packaging

  • Transit cartons are manufactured from recycled materials
