Set up in 2007, Help for Heroes has been helping wounded servicemen and women of the armed forces and their families adjust to life. The charity has received a monumental amount of support over the years, including a charity single from the contestants from popular TV series The X Factor.
In 2010, the charity held a Help for Heroes concert with performances from Tom Jones, Michael McIntyre, The Wanted, Gary Barlow and Peter Kay. The charity also holds a variety of fundraising events including high profile sports matches and sponsored runs.
In 2008, Help for Heroes was awarded the Support to the Armed Forces award for providing invaluable help to the armed forces.
