Children with Cancer UK Charity Christmas Cards

In 1987, 14 year old Paul O’Gorman passed away from leukaemia after asking his parents to help other children with the disease. His sister Jean died 9 months later. In July 1987, the remaining family met Diana, princess of Wales who was so moved by the tragedy that she helped them to set up Children with Cancer UK.

Children with Cancer UK host an annual bake club to raise money for their cause. It gets people from various communities involved in baking to raise money for charity. In 2014, Olympic gold medallist Sir Matthew Pinsent supported childhood cancer awareness month and showed his gold medals to some of the children that are suffering from cancer.
